“What do our youth need?” It’s a question we hear everywhere. ....Parents, clergy, and other concerned adults all across our
Church here in North America and throughout the world are searching for an answer.
So what is the answer?

Everyone wants to see youth involved in the Church and there are many reasons for this. Clergy see them as a sign of parish vitality and growth. The elderly see them as a guarantee for the Church's future. Parents hope and pray that their children will find an example in the Church by which to live their life.

The mission of young adult ministry is to lead all persons to the fullness of
the Faith and likeness of God. Young adults must be integrated into the
active life of the Orthodox Church on all levels, Parish, Diocesan and
Archdiocesan.

Living the Orthodox Faith in love to Christe is a goal for all ROYA members. We need to deliberately plan for youth ministry to take place in our parishes. Please use these guidelines to do that.
